Virtual Reality Porn

vr-porn (2) Naughty America is on for a big bet on VR porn at SXSW

AUSTIN, TEXAS – The virtual reality by Southwest at South is on everyone’s lip, but in the early going there is not much new to view and hear. Not until Wednesday did the VR/AR track & gaming kick off. In the meantime, so many companies like Samsung were out for increasingly immersive experiences and continuous display of well-worn Gear VR headsets.

You need to face the giant window in the heart of Austin and sit in the gimbal chair so those on the outside can see your reaction, even though you can’t view anything that lies beyond the real world.

It’s so unlikely those experiencing the VR content of Naughty America would feel as convenient in that window. Maybe that is the more reason I found Ian Paul, the company CIO a mile away from the convention hall hosting VR demos and meetings.

Maybe Paul is taking the advice of the VR hardware manufacturers a little too factually. The company’s content presently plays on Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR headsets, Google Cardboard, and they are targeting the HTC Vive. Paul said, “while the companies encourage us and say kudos, they also kind of say don’t move so close.”

On my arrival to the dusty backyard of the Craftsman Bar, I sighted the Samsung Gear VR headsets with the Samsung logos covered by the Naughty America VR stickers on a pair of female porn stars. The Photographers crowded them, and no one could have a glimpse of what they were experiencing, even the mob of photographers kept asking them to remove the headgear so they could easily photograph them.

Meeting with Paul, who previously worked in the telecommunications and at IBM,

he was carrying headphones and a Gear VR that, not humorously, were preventatively covered with a good cotton

he was carrying headphones and a Gear VR that, not humorously, were preventatively covered with a good cotton. I demurred at first when he offered that I try the experience. I was interested in digging a bit further into this VR porn business and, truly, who would like to follow Raymond Analyst Mashable Product Wong’s memorable VR porn experience?

The naughty industry is not diving in

vr-pornNaughty America still treats the way they shoot their VR POV porn like a secret trade. Just because they bother about consumers getting to know how it is done (If a 360 camera can be attached to a person’s head. How difficult can that be? and….. much said about that already), but because they are making all possible effort to remain on top and ahead of contending pornographers.

“We are the largest company doing this out of the two or three companies that produce adult content. Most are doing a wait and follow approach. These other companies challenge is that there is no pattern for them to follow.” Also, to shoot these videos takes a whole lot of money investment and time. It took Naughty America 6 months of experimentation before it could release its first VR video.

Build a whole room and train

Meanwhile, Paul said his company is working on the expansion of the point of views in the content. Currently, VR porn is just nothing different from shooting any other VR content; you have to hide audio and lighting equipment and make a more visible set to avoid consumers looking above, below, to the right and left of it. Sure, the VR porn content may make them concentrate, but in my brief demo (I realized I had to make an attempt), I kept viewing the whole room (which might have been to prevent me from looking straight at the virtual adult performing right in front of me).

Paul added that, to make the experience “more attracting, they do train their performers on using the latest visual depth supported by the 3D VR cameras since all his performers are “seasoned pros”. That seemed to mean “push yourself into their face” in my demo.

It’s a small business

There is this common fiction that porn pushes forward all novelty. Yes, this helped in the late 1970s and early 1980s VHS/VCR market and may have pushed forward the adoption of the DVD, but the industry was too slow to ratify HD. Some of that initially may have been compelled by how traditional HDTVs and HD content slowly entered the market in the early to mid1990s. Probably VR is experiencing a similar drought in demand. It was noted from a recent study that just 33 percent of Americans know about VR, and 36 percent want to buy it.

Paul told me that his company only sells just 3% to 5% VR of all the adult content

There will be more VR porn

Though without much support from customer, Naughty America is increasing the offerings of its VR to go beyond of what Paul seem to see as a speedily growing demand. Paul said “This is moving extremely fast, even faster than everyone’s thoughts. If we look at the mobile phones versus uptake, the rate of adoption of this technology, the curve is getting more vertical,” The company will unveil Randy’s Road stop, a VR-centric website on Wednesday.

Also, the company is discussing how they can work with the VR headset experience with third-party sexual accessory companies. Clearly, the aim is to sync with a physical device all that happens in the 360 views in the real world. However, Paul says Naughty America has greater strategies than just sexual excitement. Ultimately, they want to help drive future VR adult content using the data documented from the accessories so that it can tailor it to the desires of the viewers.

Paul thinks the future for adult content, and virtual reality is bright, and he is rightly set to help move it forward. He added, “If you are a technologist like me, there is no greater industry to be in because I have all the funding required to try new things.

India Government Blocks 857 Pornography Websites, Defying Supreme Court Decision

Posted by on Aug 10, 2015 in Porn Industry |

Indian-Government-ban-email-servicesWhen it comes to websites that contain porn, India has been known to ban hundreds of them. Being the biggest democracy in the world, India has been accused of heavy-handed censorship.

It has now been confirmed that a very large amount of porn websites cannot be accessed in India by many internet service providers. Those who use: BSNL, ACT and MTNL ISPs have noticed that they are getting messages saying: “This website has been blocked because of the Competent Authority requirements”. They have also been getting blank pages. In the mean time, individuals using Tata Photon or Airtel have never experienced anything like this.

The government of India has not given any notice to ISP’s to prevent individuals from getting to eight hundred and fifty seven pornography websites.

Before they knew it, complaints were being made on social media networks all over India. Individuals were explaining what they were experiencing when accessing these websites. Some were being told that the website they were using had been blocked as they were told by the telecommunications department in India.

The government has been very unclear about the purpose of this. No official announcement was given. They did not even say how they were going to block these websites. ISP’s in India have noticed there have been a lot of pornography websites that have not been blocked at all.

On top of all this, they began blocking the websites immediately following India’s Supreme Court to decline a request to block these sites. H.L. Dattu who is India’s Chief Justice confirmed that it was a right to allow adults to look at pornography websites within their own private homes.

block-pornAll of this began a conversation thread on Twitter and Reddit. The pornography websites appear to be accessible for some ISP’s such as Airtel and Tata Photon. One individual commented saying: “The website has been blocked because of the Competent Authority requirements”. Legally, India stated that eleven out of thirteen pornography websites could not open. Legally India uses the Spectranet broadband connection from Delhi. Not only this, but many pornography websites could be used on mobile phone devices.

ISP’s in India were then told that they could make some pornography websites accessible again as long as they didn’t contain child pornography. However, these ISP’s were unable to take on this task of filtering internet porn.

There are no codified instructions in place for ISP’s in India. There are also no features that allow them to report or judge content to an authority if such thing did occur. In India, in the year 2009; a bill was passed. This bill was to make child pornography illegal. However, given that the situation we have at present; there is no ruling process set in place.

As a result; the government of India is not giving much away. Nor are they trying to fix up and respond to the complaints received because of this unreasonable ban. The Supreme Court, in the month of July; judged the government of India for their lack of ability to block child pornography websites. Instead of fixing this problem, complete censorship was evened out. It seems that the first approach to censor porn, because of “decency and morality”; did not work. This resulted in the government invoking child pornography. They also seek any assistance in what they would do if such a thing happened.

Recently the Indian government has been trying to evade the prevalent criticism by initiating a legal obligation on internet service providers to decide on what site to re-open in the ongoing heightened discourse on child porn rule; the ISPs will have to shut down all of its sites. In fact, hitherto the ISPs have opted to lock the accessibility of 857 sites until they get further instruction from the government.

Considering the internet usage of an average Indian; there is a clear observable trend of excessive traffic to a number of pornographic sites. Although the decision by the government to block access to various sites can cause transient hindrances, it is a daunting task on the part of the government to try and employ a permanent restriction that will tidy up the tainted internet especially the night- time usage space. A variety ISPs have not yet locked the listed websites. Furthermore, most of the pornographic sites are hosted outside India. To add to it all, the availability of virtual private networks (VPNs), that allow users to bypass the access barriers imposed by the Indian government, has deemed the entire ban of pornographic sites ineffectual.

According to section 67 of the IT Acts laws are intended for publishing “explicit information in electronic form”, but there is no regulation on viewing pornographic content. Though displaying explicit content in public domains can be deemed invidious, accessing pornographic content from a private source is not illegal. To VPNs and proxies, there is no regulation on their legality although they operate at a highly risky environment. The initiative by the Indian Government to ban pornographic websites is a blueprint of the future regulatory plans the government has in store to safeguard the future of internet in India. But as for now, the ban is just a law as it can be bypassed through several ways and even a search on Google offers a number of options on how to bypass the encrypted restrictions.

Administrations have voiced their support on the ban considering it as necessary after the Indian’s Supreme Court pin pointed the Government’s failure to safeguard children from pornographic contents in the internet.

However, several institutions and activists groups have accused the government of trying to introduce “moral police” in the past and this week the ban on sites has received much more criticism. The activists are taking website 854 (nonvegjokes) on the ban list as an example to relay claims that the government has used an illusory extended definition of what is regarded as pornographic content. Nonvegjokes is a comedy site specializing on amplified off-color jokes. Its name refers to description of lascivious humor.

The website is not an archive for comedic gold. It has inducing gems such as; “sex is like a pizza”. When the site is bringing out something good, it is actually very good. When it is way off, it is extremely bad. But the site does not seem to contain any obvious pornography. And that is the reason why the ban has brought such intense reactions among the Indian web users.

The ban was intended to be temporary till the Supreme Court makes a ruling. The matter will be heard in court again on August 10 to try and have a definite ruling. Until then, web ban is still on, rubbish the government’s hype: online pornography is still blocked in India.

Stigma And The Shaping Of The Pornography Industry

Stigma And The Shaping Of The Pornography Industry

Posted by on Jul 25, 2015 in Adult Entertainment, Porn Industry, Pornography |

In the last couple of days, I’ve collided with two exciting critiques of pornography. Teachers and other educators should be keen to ongoing study into the effects of pornography consumption and slot in those results into their curricula as suitable. Analytical correspondents, for instance, might look at the relationship between the Porn industry and its lobbying financial manipulation. porn-identity-main_article_image

PORN INDUSTRY can also take the front line in getting rid of some of the harm caused by pornography addiction and reliance. If feminism stands for shaping our very own sexual identity, I do not see why there should be no reason why women cannot engage in entertainment sexual practices that intimate fear to generate thrill.porn-industry When it comes to considering things that have inspired, fuelled and warranted barbarity, pornography of even the most distasteful type doesn’t even begin to vie as ,brutal. In other words most view it as filmed male sexual hostility aligned by women under the backing of supposedly viewing pornography which is supposedly fantasy not real men committing real brutal sexual acts against women. Bearing in mind that sexism is like racism when it comes to gender, I would point out that most pornography personalities view it as a way of earning a living too.

Furthermore, pornography is a means that can be used to bully female viewers, or to get hold of their collaboration with some abusers, and for the reason that pornography conditions male orgasm to female subordination, it in some way and subconsciously elicit hostile male sexual traits. Pornography shapes up both female and male sexual longing into prey/addict roles, and stands for voracious sexual habits as a natural form of sexual and gender appearance. desktop-1433459759

I wouldn’t oppose that females have bad experience after leave-taking the porn industry, but that is due to the society because it has such a bad outlook towards people who work in the adult industry entertainment. Anyone can get an share and develop their own living – but the truth is that the living industry is run by normal living business, and the porn industry is run by the extra-large porn business, hence their money is good and easy that is why most fall for it and start casting we should not blame them, it really does not matter how you make it, what really matters is if you made it.

porn2-1260x840It’s significant to know that the stigma assessment of pornography industry came out of an anti violence group, and that appraisal of pornography was just any other aspect of an appraisal culture that was on conditioning a communal support assist for that violence. While many critiques associated with pornography admit that social stigma and cruelty can lead to unsafe working conditions, they mention that the key to this predicament is not to prohibit sex commercially but to regulate and legalize it.They are as sane and maybe even brilliant than some of us are so let us appreciate adult film stars in order for this industry to prosper, exactly like Hollywood and the likes.
